Equilens Online Dressage for Help Ukraine Horses

Let me start by saying a huge thank you to everyone for you support with April's online dressage show!

It was a last minute idea in an attempt to raise some money for Ukrainian horses and owners, to be donated to a brand new charity called Ukrainian Equestrian Federation Charity Foundation, who are doing amazing things for those in an awful situation in Ukraine.

Thank you to those of you who entered, shared my social media posts to help spread the word, and to those of you who didn't ride but still donated. Also, to Alexandra Hopkins, British Dressage listed judge for your generosity and judging skills, and Richardson Designs for the fabulous rosettes!

Not forgetting Caroline at Littlebourne Equestrian Centre, for allowing me to collect the car park entry money from her Easter show, as well as helping sell raffle tickets. Ben Mitchell-Winter Senior BHS APC for donating a raffle prize, and Jen at Daisy Chain Equine Therapy for offering a massage to the winners of April's classes.

You have all helped raise over £1000 for UEFCF in less than a month, which makes me a little bit emotional to say the least!

Following on from the success of April's show, the results of which will be announced on 6th May, I have decided to continue running monthly shows because the conflict in Ukraine is, unfortunately, far from over.

The classes are open to everyone worldwide. April's show saw entries from as far away as Florida!

If you'd like to get involved this month, visit my website www.equilens.co.uk/online-dressage

There are a few rules so make sure you familiarise yourself with them. But most of all, have fun, enjoy the ride and do your bit for an amazing group of people who are doing their best for equines in need.

THANK YOU!

Alex X
